Veterinary Medical Services

Whether you come to see us for a wellness exam or for an illness or injury, our staff will take care of your pet as if he or she were one of their own. We strive to provide the most exceptional level of customer service to our clients, and to provide the highest level of veterinary medical care for your pet. Dr. Solomon takes the time to listen to your concerns, and she will make recommendations based on your pet and his or her needs. Veterinary medicine is not a “one size fits all” scenario, so we believe in taking a tailored approach to your pet’s health care.

Wellness Care

Wellness, or preventive, care encompasses examination, vaccines, routine labwork, and flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Our team will take the time to talk to you about your pet, their environment, their lifestyle, and their risk factors before deciding on an appropriate protocol or schedule.

Typically, we recommend either 1 or 3 year vaccines (depending on risk factors, age, vaccine status, etc), yearly lab work (CBC, chemistry panel, heartworm test, and fecal), and at least one physical exam per year. As our precious companions age, they may need 2-4 physical exams per year.

Urgent Care

We reserve a few appointment spots every day for same-day sick visits in case you wake up and realize Fluffy is sick. We also offer drop off appointments in case our open appointment spots do not work for your schedule. Drop off appointments are seen between regular appointments and over lunch.

In the case of an emergency, give us a call on your way here, so we can be ready for you. If you have an emergency after hours, please call and go directly to one of our local emergency veterinary hospitals:

Dental/Surgery

Our separate dental suite is equipped for dental cleanings, oral surgery, and digital dental radiographs (x-rays). We often find evidence of periodontal disease and can address these issues before they become larger problems.

Our surgery suite is equipped and ready for most of your pet’s soft tissue surgical needs. We also work with a local boarded surgeon who performs various orthopedic surgeries and other specialized procedures as needed.

For our dental and surgery patients, we use a multi-modal approach to pain. This means we provide local anesthetic blocks, pain medications, anti-inflammatories, and laser therapy to help reduce pain before, during, and after procedures.
